🎸 Celebrating 70 Years of the Iconic Fender Stratocaster

2024 marks 70 Years since the debut of the Stratocaster, the world’s most iconic electric guitar (like, of all time). Fender decided to celebrate with the release of new limited edition models and a months-long marketing campaign featuring some of the most prolific artists of our time.

For fourth months straight, we programmed weekly content on Fender’s social channels including a mix of campaign creative assets, behind-the-scenes interviews, archival artist photography, user generated content, influencer testimonials and the biggest social giveaway contest in the history of Fender: 70 Strats to 70 lucky social followers around the globe. One grand prize winner received the customized Stratocaster of their dreams.

RESULTS
+ Within the first six weeks of the campaign, we garnered 150 Million Paid Media Impressions, 23 Million Video Views, 50,000 New Social Followers, 65,000 Campaign Page Visits
+ Our “Show Us Your Strat” Giveaway Contest received over 75,000 entries in the first 24 hours
+ Our launch video was viewed 10m+ across our social channels 
+ 18% spike in WoW traffic to Fender.com in the week following launch
