🎥 Honoring the legacy of love Built by the black panther party

As part of our social impact campaign for the film JUDAS AND THE BLACK MESSIAH, our team commissioned a 10-minute short documentary titled A REVOLUTIONARY ACT, helmed by award winning director and artist MALAKAI. Our goal was to twofold: to help our social audiences unlearn what we were taught about the Black Panther Party in order to truly understand their legacy of love and service to their community; and to support efforts led by Fred Hampton, Jr. to preserve his father’s childhood home as a historical landmark.

We bolstered the campaign with our Artist + Activist Conversation Series featuring conversations between the artists behind the film and current movement leaders today. The conversations debuted each week on Participant, Warner Brothers and activist social channels. The series wrapped in March with an Instagram LIVE Artist + Activist takeover celebrating Black Women Revolutionaries timed to Women’s History Month.
