🎥 Mobilizing Audiences Around the Fight Against Forever Chemicals
For years, reckless corporations have been knowingly polluting our water and consumer products with toxic PFAS chemicals. Studies have detected these “forever chemicals” in 99% of people tested, yet they’re still largely unregulated.
Catalized by the film DARK WATERS, our FIGHT FOREVER CHEMICALS campaign aimed to raise public consciousness of the modern dangers of forever chemicals, accelerate legislation that restricts the use of forever chemicals in the US and Europe, and strengthen the movement of advocates holding the government and industry accountable. The months-long social, digital and screening campaign culminated in a trip to Captiol Hill with the film’s star, Mark Ruffalo, and the real-life hero behind it all, Rob Bilott.
